Operated by the town's Recreation Department, the center complex includes community rooms and an outdoor swimming pool for programs and classes for residents and non-residents 2 years old on up.
Mount Lebanon is one of Pittsburgh's more affluent suburbs. The first settlers arrived in the early 1770s and was largely a farming community until the end of the 19th century as the population started to grow with the arrival of street car. The town was incorporated in 1912.
The complex includes a public park where many community events are held.
