UUBU 6 is a restaurant serving modern American cuisine located in a structure created by the merger of different historic buildings.
The restaurant takes its name from the former residents of the combined building, the Workingmen’s Beneficial Union No. 6, and their name is pronounced "ooh boo six".
The Workingman’s Beneficial Union No. 6 lodge (WBU No. 6) was founded on March 11, 1919. German immigrants used this as a social and a reading club for immigrants to Pittsburgh since the beginning of the Twentieth Century.
UUBU 6 is a funky and elegant restaurant known for its unique charm, excellent food and appealing wine list.
Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
