Description

The Arc of Westmoreland is an agency committed to a "People First" approach, which offers those with cognitive, intellectual and develop-mental disabilities and their families the supports, services and opportunities necessary to have freedom, choice and control in their lives.

For over half a century, the agency continues to pursue its goal to enrich lives and empower persons with disabilities by providing quality programs, services and supports. These progressive approaches promote independence, integration, choice, and inclusion within a contemporary society. The Arc also strives to reduce the incidence of mental retardation by educational outreach in the community through public speaking and partnering with concerned organizations for maximum impact.
