Description
The Greenock Volunteer Fire Company vigilantly protects 4,500 people living in a 10.5 square mile area. They operate out of one station that protects a primarily residential area. Staffed by about 35 dedicated volunteers, the department's services include fire, haz-mat, search & rescue, extrication, fire prevention, public education and community service.
The department's simple building includes a hall that can hold up to 250 people.
