Description

Jefferson Regional Medical Center is a nonprofit, community-based acute care facility dedicated to serving the more than 280,000 residents in Pittsburgh's South Hills and surrounding areas. It is part of the South Hills Health System.

Among the hospital's programs is the Heart Institute; the Jefferson Hospital Physical Therapy & Aquatic Therapy Center; and the James Bibro Pavilion.

The Heart Institute features two cardiothoracic and vascular operating and recovery rooms, three cardiac catheterization labs, and a new 10-bed cardiovascular unit.

The Jefferson Hospital Physical Therapy & Aquatic Therapy Center is home to programs for personal fitness, sports massage, and athletic training services for local high schools, junior colleges, and sports clubs.

The James Bibro Pavilion houses the center's administrative offices along with a conference center and a complete meeting and banquet facility. Small conference rooms are ideal for workshop settings and educational presentations.

Hours of operation

The center is open 24-hours a day, although many offices are only open weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
