The Olin Fine Arts Center is the main performance and exhibition facility at rural William & Jefferson College.
Dating to 1791, Washington & Jefferson College's academic emphasis is on the liberal arts and the sciences, with a focus on preparing students for graduate and professional schools.
Housed in a contemporary red brick building on campus, the Olin Fine Arts Center's primary components are a theater and art gallery.
The theatre seats 486 people with a proscenium stage and can be used for concerts as well as plays.
The gallery supports the display of both three-dimensional and hanging works in its 1,900-square-foot exhibition space. Several exhibitions are installed each year, including an exhibition of student work at the end of spring term.
The entire center is handicapped accessible.
The box office is open weekdays, Noon to 5:00 p.m.
Free parking for patrons is available behind the Olin Fine Arts Center and in the Grant Street parking lots.
