Vandergrift #1 Fire Hall is a rural community fire company.
The fire company is among the oldest in the area, and was first formed in 1897 with just five men. It was formally charted in 1902. They are well-known in the area for the company's unusual trucks and uniforms --- which are all brown.
Their facility includes a "Fireman's Club" that serves as a bar. gathering space and hall where various forms of events are held.
