Description
The City of Washington is the governmental seat for Washington County, which was formed in 1781 and named after the nation's first President. The City of Washington is historically rich and home to many attractions including The LeMoyne House and Bradford House.
Downtown Washington is the city's main business district, and the Washington Business District Authority is revitalizing it to become an attractive, safe environment for the residential and business community partners to live, work, learn, shop, worship and play.
