Founders Field is home to the Pittsburgh Harlequins Rugby Football Association, as well as many area athletic teams and leagues. The Facility, built in 1999, is owned and operated by the Association; a Federal 501c3 mentoring organization working with over 400 area youth from predominantly at risk communities.
The Association maintains the facility for these programs, and underwrites the programs through the usage of the playing fields and the banquet hall.
The banquet hall is approximately 3000 square feet, and includes a catering kitchen, ice machine, refrigerators, tables, and chairs. The space is warm and inviting, with spectacular views of the playing fields and Deer Creek. It is available year round, and arrangements can be made for smaller events such as of-site corporate meetings.
