Jacktown Fairgrounds is home to the longest running county fair in the nation. The grounds have a total of 20 acres featuring 4-H barns, consessions, and a track among other facilities.
The Jacktown Fair was first organized on July 6, 1866. The Richhill Agricultural Horticultural & Mechanical Society was organized by residents of what was then known as Jacksonville, today's Wind Ridge, Pennsylvania.
Over the years, some modern conveniences have been added, including running water and restrooms, but it still maintains the rustic look of yesteryear.
