Sri Venkateswara Temple is one of the earliest Hindu temples to be built in the United States.

The temple is modeled after the famed Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh, India) and it's 7th century architecture. Echoing the human body, the two sides of the temple represent the hands, and the top of the temple, the head.

There are two entrances to the temple. The first is via "Rajagopuram" (the main domed entrance) which is open only during special occasions. The second entrance is via the lobby and the main office.

Sri Venkateswara Temple has two auditorium's: the large auditorium is regularly rented out with a well equipped sound and light system.

Hours of operation

The temple is open daily, 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
