The Westmoreland Museum Of American Art specializes in American art to educate, inspire and enrich the public.
Art lover Mary Marchand Woods, a long time resident of Greensburg interested in the arts, bequeathed her entire estate to establish The Woods Marchand Foundation in 1949. The museum developed from this foundation, opening ten years later.
In addition to exhibits, the museum sometimes hosts concerts and lectures in its handsome redbrick building, which echoes the architecture of Colonial America.
Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The museum has its own parking facilities.
