Manchester School

Description

Manchester is a German International Studies magnet with a Math, Science, and Technology emphasis as well as a community based school. Students from all city neighborhoods may apply to the German magnet. The Math, Science, and Technology emphasis plays an important role during a child's experience at Manchester. All students use the computer labs and classroom computers. Manchester also offers Head Start, Autistic Support, Multi-Disabilities Classroom, as well as individualized remedial and accelerated instruction such as "Read 180," Waterford Early Reading Program and Algebra One.
