Minadeo School was built in 1957 as a traditional neighborhood elementary school and is a part of the Pittsburgh Public Schools system.
The school's mission is to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors to enhance their growth academically, physically, socially, and emotionally throughout their elementary school years and beyond.
In addition to classrooms, the school has a cafeteria, gyms, a computer lab, library, art & music rooms and an auditorium that can seat about 400 people.
Varies per season, but the doors generally open weekdays at 8:30 a.m.
