Beechwood Elementary School

Description

Beechwood’s strong academic curriculum emphasizes attainment of standards and early success, particularly in literacy and mathematics.

Literacy instruction is augmented in two Internet-connected labs. All classrooms are equipped with computers. A wireless lab and handheld computers enhance fourth and fifth grade mathematics.

Programs include English as a Second Language, Read 180, Waterford Early Reading Program, Instructional Support, Learning Support, after school sports, chess, fifth grade camping trip, fifth grade play, Dr. Seuss night, Harry Potter night, and science fair.

Classes are held during the school year weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 2:36 p.m.
