The oldest Elks lodge in Pennsylvania, Lodge #11, is part of a national organization that dates back to 1868.
The mission of the Benevolent & Protective Order Of Elks is to inculcate the principles of charity, justice, brotherly love and fidelity; to recognize a belief in God; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to serve the people and communities through benevolent programs.
Facilities at this lodge include a large banquet hall with dance floor that can comfortably accommodate 300 guests.
