Description

Hickory United Presbyterian Church is a Confessing Church, whose history extends back to the 1700's when the Mt. Pleasant and Mt. Prospect Churches were founded. Hickory was formed in 1968 with the merger of these two churches.

Hickory is a rural church located off two highways whose mission is to be "The Visible Body of Christ in the world. Just as God, incarnate in Christ, proclaimed the Good News of God's love to all people, He also provided for the physical, mental and social needs of all people. We, the members of the Hickory U. P. Church, with the help of the Holy Spirit, fulfill these functions through ministry evangelism and fellowship."

The office is open weekdays, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
