The Green Tree Public Library began in 1942 with fifteen members of the Green Tree Woman's Club "Book Circle," later known as the Literary Group. In 1944, the group purchased the library of the Paul Whitman Estate consisting of over 1,000 books and the library was born.
Today, the physical library is an extention of the municipal center.
Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday & Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
There is parking both in front of the library and behind the municipal center.
