Tucked away in scenic Mercer County lies one of the most beautiful public golf courses in Pennsylvania. This 18-hole layout offers variety and playability to golfers of all skill levels. With well-conditioned fairways and fast-rolling greens that wind through naturally-wooded terrain and multiple water hazards, this is one golf experience worth the drive.
Pine Grove Golf Course was designed and built more than 45 years ago by the late John L. Deitrick, who operated the course from 1957 until it passed to his daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Leonard Chutz in 1977. Pine Grove's original layout was a nine-hole course until the the early 1980's when the Chutz's added another nine holes. Now in the third generation of family ownership, brothers Ben and Brad Chutz continue Pine Grove's long tradition of serving the public with its four-star rated course.
