South Park

Description

At nearly 2,000 acres, South Park is the second largest county park in Allegheny County. It was completed in 1931.

South Park's facilities include golf courses, an ice skating rink, tennis courts, wave pool, ball fields and a soccer field.

Among the more popular aspects of the park are the outdoor ampitheatre where concerts and other events are held.

Hours of operation

The park is generally open daily, dawn to dusk.
