Founded in 1804, Cranberry is a town of 28,000 located in rural Butler County.
The Cranberry Municipal Center is a contemporary building that houses key local government offices and services. These include a senior center, teen center, a full gymnasium, child care center, public library and various activity rooms.
Cranberry's interesting name is derived from the cranberry bogs which could once be found in the area.
