Description

Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall is a museum, performance venue and meeting facility. It was conceived by the Grand Army Of The Republic posts in the Pittsburgh area and opened in 1910. The museum covers the Civil War through present day military conflicts with the goal to educate, remember and honor the stories of those who serve our country.

The building’s design is based on the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders Of The Ancient World. The Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor has a 400 capacity and theAuditorium seats over 2,300.

Hours of operation

The museum is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
