Sewickley is a small town of about 4,000 people northeast of Pittsburgh. Sewickley is an Indian word for "Sweet Water" and has a history that dates back to the mid 1700's, with the first written mention of Sewickley dated December 31, 1767. The municipality was founded in 1853.
