The mission of the Peters Township High School is to ensure that all students receive the highest quality education delivered by an excellent staff making full use of resources so that students may become contributing members of society and lifelong learners.
Peters is a town of 20,000 people and was one of the 13 original townships of Washington County when it became part of Pennsylvania.
Renovations in 2001 turned the school building into a very contemporary structure with a modern cafeteria, TV studio, full library, and an indoor swimming pool.
In addition, the school now boasts a 700-seat auditorium and a 1,050-seat football stadium for various events.
Varies per season, although non-academic events are generally held weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. during the school year.
