The Stephen Foster Community Center is a multi-purpose facility that houses a senior center, day care center, meeting space for neighborhood organizations and community support groups along with offices for various non-profit organizations.
It is named in honor of Stephen Foster (1826-1864), a Pittsburgh native and the pre-eminent songwriter in 19th century America.
This handsome red brick structure is owned and operated by the Catholic Youth Association, a leading provider of daycare services for both children and adults.
