Mount Nebo Presbyterian Church dates back to 1837 when the congregation had to contend with mud roads, crude means of transportation and simple tools to complete and dedicate a log building that was to serve as the first church for the next 44 years. A second church building was built in order to accommodate the larger congregation and was completed in the early 1880s with two additions in the 1950s to create the current facility.
The congregation is dedicated to praising the Lord through word and deed and are learning to grow in Christ with one heart and one mind through worship, prayer, educational programs and fellowship.
The church's hours vary, with regular Sunday services at 10:50 a.m. most of the year.
Parking is free and people are welcome to park in the triangle lot in front of the church or in the parking lot to the right of the church. Handicap parking and a handicap access ramp are also available.
