The Western Pennsylvania School For Blind Children was founded more than 100 years ago as a facility to provide the best education possible for boys and girls who were blind. The school has never wavered from this mandate. Today, in addition to blindness, the students who enroll there have other severe disabilities, and the educational program is tailored to their needs.
