PPG Place & Plaza

Description

PPG Place is a magnificent cathedral of glass and is home to PPG Industries as well as other major Pittsburgh companies.

Located next to historic Market Square on five and one-half acres, the six building complex surrounds a one-acre grand plaza which is home to various events and activities in the summer months; from mid-November to early March it is transformed into a spectacular skating rink. During the holidays, a stunning 65-foot Christmas tree dominates the plaza.

The food court in Two PPG Place often has free events, such as concerts. The famous Wintergarden in One PPG Place is often the site for many events, especially fundraisers.

Hours of operation

The Wintergarden is generally open Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Individual shops vary. Call for the food court hours.
