Allegheny Commons is the network of parks in the former Allegheny City (now part of Pittsburgh) that often hosts festivals and farmer’s markets.
Most prominent of these is West Park, home to the National Aviary and formerly the site each year of the popular Pittsburgh International Children’s Festival.
