Members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra perform the music of Paul McCartney for a one-of-a-kind Memorial Day Weekend event.
Born in 1942, Sir Paul McCartney is an English musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and composer best known for being part of the legendary 1960s pop/rock band The Beatles. Tonight's special concert features the North American debut of "Nova" that he wrote with his late wife, Linda Eastman McCartney (1941-1998).
Proceeds benefit the Rock For The Heart Foundation, which supports research intended to prevent sudden cardiac arrests due to congenital heart disorders in children. For tickets, call (412) 392-4900.
