This powerful exhibition examines the reality that bullying among girls in America has become an epidemic in our society.
"Mean Girls" is comprised of 10 nationally known artists including, Traci Molloy, a Brooklyn-based artist and education activist. For over 10 years, her artwork has examined loss in relation to adolescent violence and bullying, with an emphasis on youth who've committed suicide after being bullied or were murdered by their peers.
Presented in conjunction with the local chapter of Strong Women Strong Girls, a mentoring organization for girls in grades 3 to 5 and with the goal of helping them to develop skills for lifelong success. For more information, call (412) 596-8879.
