Enjoy a staged reading from this play by African-American scholar and dramatist Endesha Ida Mae Holland (1944-2006).
Inspired by Holland's own childhood, the play is the moving story of how a young woman pulls herself up from prostitution to earning her own doctorate. There will be a question-and-answer session following the performance with the director and cast.
