Iranian-American soprano Halegh Abghari --- known for her confident technique and unfettered inhibitions --- performs solo vocal works by American composer John Cage (1912-1992), Jewish-American composer György Kurtág (born 1926) and Greek composer Georges Aperghis (born 1945).

Also appearing is American percussionist Lisa Pegher, who will perform premieres of works by contemporary Pittsburgh composers Patrick Burke and Mathew Rosenblum.
