Established in 1935, VisitPittsburgh (originally called the Greater Pittsburgh Convention & Visitors Bureau) is the official tourism promotion agency for Allegheny County and the lead tourist promotion agency for the region. Among their projects is the publication of the annual Visitors Guide.
