Nationally-known civil rights attorney John C. Brittain, currently a law professor at the University Of The District Of Columbia, is the keynote speaker at this special worship program honoring the late Martin Luther King.
Martin Luther King Jr (1929-1968) was a clergyman, activist and prominent leader in the African-American civil rights movement who was also one of the greatest orators in U.S. history.
Admission is free, and everyone in the Pittsburgh area is cordially invited to attend. Presented by the East End Cooperative Ministry, an interfaith ministry dedicated to helping at-risk children and youth, the hungry, the homeless and others in need throughout the city's east neighborhoods.
