Local spoken-word artist Vanessa German joins the Pittsburgh Gospel Choir --- acclaimed for its inspirational performances of American gospel music throughout Western Pennsylvania --- and other artists for a concert honoring Martin Luther King.

Martin Luther King Jr (1929-1968) was a clergyman, activist and prominent leader in the African-American civil rights movement who was also one of the greatest orators in U.S. history.

There is no charge for admission, but monetary donations will be freely accepted to benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and the Westmoreland County Food Bank. For more information, call (412) 512-0589.
