Kyle Abraham --- a dancer and choreographer originally from Pittsburgh and now living and working in New York --- will perform a full-length performance that pairs essays by African-American author and activist W.E.B Du Bois (1868-1963) and the 1991 film "Boyz N The Hood" with an operatic score layered with a brash urban landscape.
