Merry Christmas Mayhem / Scrooge Has Left The Building
McKeesport Little Theater  [ venue info ]
12/14/2012 through 12/16/2012

Embrace the ridiculous aspects of the holiday season with a pair of hilarious one-act Christmas plays.

"Merry Christmas Mayhem" is the story of one woman's annual church Christmas dinner for the poor. Eleanor brought along he new boyfriend, Leo, to meet her grown granddaughter, Jane, for the first time. Jane has also brought along her new boyfriend, Bobby, to meet her grandmother. Unfortunately, they are so busy serving the dinner that the two couples do not get the chance for formal introductions. Through a series of misunderstandings, Eleanor soon thinks Bobby is one of the homeless people --- while Jane thinks Leo is an insane stalker.

In "Scrooge Has Left The Building," a man sits in his sitting room eating his porridge. Just then a ghost bursts in and begins to rattle his chains, scaring the man half to death --- before realizing that he's haunting the wrong house.

Tickets are $12 per person and include coffee, tea and desserts during intermission. For reservations, call (412) 673-1100.
