Venezuelan author Israel Centeno and director Justin Fortunato (from the local nonprofit Prime Stage Theatre) read selections from Centeno's novel, "La Torre Invertida."

"La Torre Invertida" a very unusual political novel, blending elements of the classic gothic novel --- vampires, wizards and magicians --- with the sensuality of the Afro-Caribbean religious tradition.
