"The Nutcracker" is Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's classic family-friendly ballet about a German girl named Clara on Chistmas Eve who dreams of a magical party.

Set in turn-of-the-century Pittsburgh, this grand-scale production features scenes of old-time Pittsburgh, including Kaufmann's clock, a Heinz delivery truck and a beautiful view of Mt. Washington during the famous first act snow scene.
