Go behind the scenes of the USS Requin, and visit areas rarely seen by the general public.
Launched in 1945, the USS Requin is a Tench-class submarine and the only ship of the United States Navy to be named for the requin, a sand shark. Throughout her career, the Renquin sailed from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea to the West Indies. The submarine was last deployed in 1967 and has been on display at the Carnegie Science Center since 1990.
