Marvel as renowned toy experts appraise local residents' antique or rare toys.

The experts will be looking for every collectible toy imaginable from vintage antique dolls, cars and trucks to GI Joe action figures and vintage Barbie dolls; from Beatles memorabilia to Hot Wheels cars; from cast iron banks to Rock Em Sock Em Robots.

The Roadshow won't be selling toys at this event but appraisals of toys are always free with no obligation, although residents often sell their toys when they find out just how much they're worth. For more information, call Mark Leinberger (561) 876-9610.

Take part in some fun and exciting bingo on two floors and featuring a high-tech display board.

Bingo is a game of chance played with randomly drawn numbers which players match against numbers that have been pre-printed on 5-inch by 5-inch cards. The winner calls out the word "Bingo!" to alert the other players and caller of a possible win.

Games are held Sunday afternoon and Tuesday evening. Proceeds benefit this nonprofit fraternal organization and its community projects. For more information, call (412) 488-7188.

The Gospel Singer

Enjoy a staged reading of the play "The Gospel Singer" by contemporary writer C. S. Wyatt.

Set in 1987 and based on real events, the story centers on drag artist Isaac Dumont who has achieved a cult following performing as "Ruthie" in a local jazz haven where his life partner, a mechanic by trade, serves as the emcee. But Isaac's true desire is to sing the gospel music dearest to his heart --- a dream that rankles his religious community as much as his professional one.

Admission is "pay-as-you-go" at the door. Presented as part of In the Raw Festival, a series produced by Bricolage to give three local playwrights the opportunity to work closely with a dramaturg to revise, explore and solidify a new work. Each of the selected three plays will receive a weeklong workshop with a director, a dramaturg and professional actors culminating in a public reading. For more information, call (412) 471-0999.

Members of the community are welcome to join the congregation for a life-saving blood drive.

To donate whole blood, you must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with signed parental consent form) weigh at least 110 pounds and be in generally good physical health. There are also eligibility requirements with regards to health history, including medications you are taking and travel history.

St. Margaret Foundation Fitness Classic 5K

The start and finish of the 5K run and walk are on the campus of UPMC St. Margaret.

This 3.1-mile flat course is certified by USA Track & Field, national governing body for walking and running sports.

A Tour Of Jewish Squirrel Hill

Meet at the center for an open house tour of Squirrel Hill area synagogues and other Jewish landmarks.

Squirrel Hill is a residential neighborhood in the east end of Pittsburgh with a history dating to the 1760s. Squirrel Hill has had a large Jewish population since the 1920s, when Eastern European Jews began to move to the neighborhood in large numbers.
