Nora Swisher and Dan Wilcox, a pair of Carnegie Mellon University graduate students, share their observations after visiting the Mars Desert Research Station.

The Mars Desert Research Station is a simulated Mars surface exploration habitat operated by the international space advocacy non-profit organization Mars Society.

Considered one of the greatest poets of 20th century China, Huang Xiang has been described as a "poet on fire" --- a human torch who burns as a lamp of freedom and enlightenment.
