Hilary Robinson, an art professor at Carnegie-Mellon University, has curated this exhibition exploring feminism in relation to wide-ranging views on societal issues as expressed by women artists.

The goal is to present new work by women artists from throughout the world whose artistic practice shows that feminism is not a single-issue set of politics but will demonstrate that feminism is, in fact, multi-vocal, multi-generational and multi-cultural.

Adventures With Clifford The Big Red Dog

This fun, interactive exhibit brings the world of Clifford The Big Red Dog to life.

Begun in 1963, "Clifford The Big Red Dog" is a series of children's novels about a loveable red dog and his owner, 8-year-old Emily. The books formed the basis of a popular television series that began in 2000.

Board the Birdwell Island ferry and journey to meet Clifford and Emily as well as their friends. At the exhibit you can take the ferry's wheel and operate the gauges; look for treasure; build a sandcastle or play in activities in Cleo's Backyard, designed especially for toddlers

The theory argues that intelligence, particularly as it is traditionally defined, does not sufficiently encompass the wide variety of abilities humans display.

OPEK, Pittsburgh’s most innovative collective of creative improvising musicians, perform Sun Ra’s music --- including several unrecorded compositions --- with their own unique musical stamp.

Herman "Sun Ra" Blount (1914-1993) was a prolific composer, musician and philosopher who preached awareness and peace above all. Sun Ra drew inspiration from ancient Egyptian cultures, spiritualism, and Afro-American history to create a repertoire encompasses the entire history of American jazz from ragtime to Free.
