Honor local military heroes with this annual parade, starting at 40th and Butler Streets.
Hundreds of people will line Butler Street to watch the parade. More than 50 groups will participate this year, including Gold Star Mothers, Wounded Warriors, military color guard, veteran organizations, military vehicles, civil War reenactors, Pittsburgh Police, Fire and Paramedics, Shriner Motor Corps, Clowns, Boy Scouts, Morningside and 9th Ward Little League organizations, sports mascots and the Pittsburgh Power football team. The parade will last approximately one hour.
The parade ends at the entrance of the Allegheny Cemetery for a ceremony and wreath laying. For more information, call Jim McGinley (412) 559-8743.
