March is Women's History Month. We will be placing relevant event information here as we become aware of them.
Women's History Month traces its beginnings back to the first International Women's Day in 1911. In 1981, a pair of senators (one male, one female) sponsored a "Woman's History Week" which expanded into a full month in 1987.
Events this month will be activities, concerts, exhibits, films and other programs that celebrate women and girls, past and present.
