Members of the community are welcome to join the congregation for a life-saving blood drive.

To donate whole blood, you must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with signed parental consent form) weigh at least 110 pounds and be in generally good physical health. There are also eligibility requirements with regards to health history, including medications you are taking and travel history.

St. Margaret Foundation Fitness Classic 5K

The start and finish of the 5K run and walk are on the campus of UPMC St. Margaret.

This 3.1-mile flat course is certified by USA Track & Field, national governing body for walking and running sports.

The individual entry fee is $20 before May 8; the fee for a three-person running team is $50. Proceeds benefit the hospital. Call (412) 784-5169 to request entry forms.

Walk With Me Pittsburgh

This one mile walk/wheel will raise funds for Easter Seals services, drive awareness of issues affecting the disability community and help to change the lives of individuals and families living with disabilities.

A Tour Of Jewish Squirrel Hill

Meet at the center for an open house tour of Squirrel Hill area synagogues and other Jewish landmarks.

Squirrel Hill is a residential neighborhood in the east end of Pittsburgh with a history dating to the 1760s. Squirrel Hill has had a large Jewish population since the 1920s, when Eastern European Jews began to move to the neighborhood in large numbers.

Guests are encouraged to ask questions and reminisce with fellow natives and newcomers alike. There will also be a scavenger hunt with prizes for guests with families. For more information, call (412) 521-8010.
