Architecture
L.D. Astorino Cos. hired Mary E. Sensebaugh as a staff accountant.
Perkins Eastman Architects hired Sandra Lafe, strategic planner and Arch Pelley, architect.
Associations/Organizations
Steve Frank joined Pittsburgh Technology Council as managing director of its CEO and finance peer networks; Mario Bruzio was promoted to administrative manager, workforce education, for the council and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center.

Worst job/why?: Working at a fast-food restaurant in high school. The hours were long, the pay was low and the food was not very good.
Biggest work challenge ever: Developing a successful and meaningful entity that works with clientele to create customized investment and wealth management strategies
Favorite stock/mutual fund: I have several favorites, but the one that comes to mind is the Muhlenkamp Fund.

Away from work I: Work out, play pool and the guitar, and study to complete a master's degree in taxation at Duquesne University.
Favorite book: I enjoy reading in areas outside of my work and school, such as philosophy and science. As of recently, my favorites are "Zen in the Martial Arts" and the "Seven Mysteries of Life."
If I won the lottery, I'd: Continue to work, but invest my winnings. I also would travel and hire a personal chef.

Equitable Resources named Johanna O'Loughlin senior vice president.

Clear Channel Entertainment Music Pittsburgh named Mike Gentille director of event operations of the Post-Gazette Pavilion and CCE Music Pittsburgh regional director of event operations and production; Ed Traversari executive director of the Amphitheatre at Station Square and director of promotions for CCE Music Pittsburgh; Roy Martin-Smith director of marketing for CCE Music Pittsburgh. Smithton-based retailer Levin Furniture will open a store in Century Square in West Mifflin in mid-April. LarsonO'BrienAcumen, Advertising and Public Relations was named Turner Dairy Farms' agency of record.
Massaro Co. has been award a $2.7 million contract to provide general construction services for the construction of an 8,500-square-foot addition to St. Clair Hospital.
Pelleon L.P. has been selected to provide electronic bidding services to the Ohio School Facilities Commission for kindergarten through 12th-grade school construction projects. Under the initial contract, the OSFC will utilize Pelleon to electronically manage the procurement of 11 construction projects valued at approximately $85 million. Pelleon will be working closely with URS Construction Services, one of the OSFC's primary construction management firms. The Pelleon and URS partnership represents the OSFC's first application of electronic bidding for construction services.
